Nearly all editing and writing support projects are billed at our standard rate of $100/hour. There is no "rounding up" of time used, so each minute used for the project is tracked and invoiced, including email correspondence time, telephone meeting time, and travel time (when travel is requested by client).
Editing clients are asked to make an initial deposit for the work, usually a minimum of two hours. When the deposit has been used, an invoice is generated and a second deposit is requested. At the end of the project, any time remaining is refunded completely.
The preferred payment method is by check, but cash and credit cards (through PayPal, with a $10 additional fee) are also accepted.
