Photo editing can bring website images to life. The artist's photos shown here required extensive work to remove distracting backgrounds and allow the viewer to focus on the art. Other photos, such as the outdoor images shown at right, may just need a few changes to greatly improve their appearance. Portraits can also benefit significantly from small changes to bring out detail in dark areas, improve skin tone, and correct for back-lighting, dim lighting, and camera flash effects.
